1. Who we are

ScriptedVN ("the program", "we") is a desktop application for translating, dubbing and packaging Ren'Py games, with the website scriptedvn.com for accounts and support. Contact: support@scriptedvn.com.

2. What we NEVER collect

• The content of your games: scripts, dialogue, images, audio, translations, voice output.
• Your conversations with the in-app assistant.
• Your files, folders or anything else on your computer beyond what is listed below.
• Your card or bank details (payments are handled entirely by Patreon or Lemon Squeezy). All translation, image and dubbing work runs on your own computer.

3. What we collect (only this list)

4. Cookies

The website uses only the cookies it needs to work: a sign-in session cookie and your language choice. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.

5. Where the data is stored

On our own server, over encrypted (HTTPS) connections; it may be located outside your country. Daily database backups are kept on the server and an encrypted copy is stored in Google Drive. E-mails (sign-in codes, support notifications) are sent through Hostinger's mail service. Models and program downloads come from Hugging Face / GitHub; payments are processed by Patreon or Lemon Squeezy. These services have their own privacy policies.

6. How long

Account data: while your account exists. Usage statistics: up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated. Security logs: up to 90 days. Database backups: kept 14 days.

7. Your rights

You can view your data, download a copy (Privacy page of your account), and delete your account and all associated data yourself or by contacting us. Deletion removes the account, licenses, devices, usage records and support requests; backups expire within 14 days.

8. Children

The program and website are not intended for people under 18. Some supported games contain adult content.
